Harsha Bhogle does not Believe that Jasprit Bumrah will be Included in the Indian National Team Squad
The start of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is getting closer by the day. The prestigious tournament will be held in Pakistan and UAE this year. All India matches are scheduled to be played in the UAE. The team’s first opponent is Bangladesh. Having said that, the Indian team has not yet had its squad announced. A renowned cricket analyst Harsha Bhogle decided to share his commentary. He believes that one of the star players may not be included in the squad.

The Expert Believes that Jasprit Bumrah will not be in the Squad
Unlike many other analysts Bhogle does not believe that ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah will be in the lineup. He thinks that the player’s fitness issues will play a key role in this. Bumrah was injured during the recent Border-Gavaskar Trophy tournament and is now undergoing the recovery process.
Other Bhogle Predictions on the Lineup
Among Harsha Bhogle’s other predictions for the probable Indian national team squad is the inclusion of Shreyas Iyer. This star batter is currently in fine form. And, remember, he performed well for the team during the 2023 World Cup. According to the expert, with the help of Iyer, the batting line-up of the Indian team will be able to pose problems to any opponent.
The 15th player in the main squad, Bhogle believes, will be Varun Chakravarthy. And the reserve players, according to him, may be Karun Nair, Nitin Kumar Reddy, Umran Malik, and Ravi Bishnoi.
